  [S927] Obituary. GLENWOOD ? Doris Pingree, 98, of Glenwood died Wednesday at the Glenwood Retirement Village. The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood United Parish. Burial will be at Grove Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood. She was born Aug. 15, 1908, in Woodbury County, Iowa, to Casper and Mary (Cory) Yockey. She grew up and attended school in Willow Township and graduated from high school in 1926. She married Ralph Pingree on Jan. 20, 1931. They farmed in Grove Lake Township. Ralph died in 1974. She moved to Sedan and then to Glenwood. She was active in her church, a volunteer driver for senior citizens and a volunteer receptionist at the Glenwood Senior Center. She is survived by her children: Shirley (and Ed) Miller of Spring Lake Park, Phyllis (and Roger) Milsten of Coon Rapids, Mary (and Richard) Adolphsen of Glenwood, Duane (and Claudia) of Hanover, Ron (and Donna) of Pine City, Eugene (and Jan) of Salem, Ore., Jim of Villard, Lowell (and Diane) of Coon Rapids; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother: Robert Yockey of Kansas.
