Lambrix, 70, of Monroe, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday in his home. He had been in poor health since July.Born February 7, 1938 in South Rockwood, he was the son of Lawrence and Adeline (Masson) Lambrix. He married Shirley J. Ochs February 7, 1959 in St. Patrick Church. He worked for Ritter Pottery, S. Rockwood, and then for Dodge & Dodge - Anlock - Iverson Industries, retiring in May 2003. He was a 1957 Graduate of Airport High School. A member of St. Patrick Church and its Mens and Ushers Clubs, Loyal Order of the Moose #884, K of C #1266, Berlin Twp. and Ash Twp. Senior Citizens. The loves of his life were his wife, children and grandchildren. His passion was farming. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, SMCC football, trips to the casino and playing backgammon. He is survived by his wife Shirley; two sons, Edward (Beth) Lambrix of Monroe, Scott (Jeanne) Lambrix of Monroe; two daughters, Dawn (Allan) Higgins of Monroe, Michelle (Brian) Wenzel of Monroe; two brothers. Lawrence (Phyllis) Lambrix of Morley, MI, Lyle (Paula) Lambrix of Monroe; four sisters, Elaine (Don) Hollister of Carleton, Donna (LeRoy) Southworth of Alger, MI, Diane (Doug) Thorn of Flat Rock), Joyce (George) Lechy of Monroe; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lambrix of Monroe, Barbara Lambrix of Jerome, nine grandchildren, Regina Manczak, Jason Lambrix, Nicole Dopple, Rachel Kallenberg, Kristin Lambrix, Megan Higgins, Charles Lambrix, Scott Wenzel, Bradley Wenzel and one great grandson, Ethan Kallenberg.
