Dear Ursula, Thank you for your reply. This information is very interesting to me. My uncle, John Paul Glaser, compiled a lot of genealogical information regarding the Glasers in Rochester, New York. He was able to find information about the Joseph Glaser born 1812 in Dahn, Pfalz, Bayern but not much before then, always wanted to know when the first Glasers came to the United States. Unfortunately, John was killed in a motorcycle accident on October 9, 2008. I am eventually going to get his archives and will have the information he gathered from cemetaries, and other relatives.
