Spangler, 86, of 31476 Devoe Ridge Road died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, January 20, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospice Center in Louisville, Ohio.He was born December 28, 1915, near Lewisville, Ohio (Burkhart), to Theodore and Philomena Kuhn Spangler. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church near Lewisville.He is survived by two brothers, Herman Spangler of Canton and John Spangler of Sandusky; one niece, Sister Mary Ann Spangler; and four nephews, Paul Spangler, Robert Spangler, Joseph Spangler and Christopher Spangler.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Carl Spangler and Lawrence Spangler.Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church near Lewisville with Father David Gaydosik as celebrant. Burial is in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near Lewisville. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Watters Funeral Home in Woodsfield. Vigil services are at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral.
