She was married to J. W. Coats, December 25, 1902; was baptized into Christ in 1915 by S. D. Howell, being a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ in Adams township, Monroe County, Ohio. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, J. W. Coats, one sister, Mrs. Jacob Schneider, a half sister, Mrs. William Dickey of Jerusalem, Ohio; half brother, Charles Keevert of Kansas, besides many other relatives and friends. She was kind hearted to all and a good neighbor, sympathized with all that were in trouble or distress. Hers was the hand to help the needy and none were ever turned away from her door hungry, but her earthly life is spent and God has called her home.Why do we mourn departed friends,Or shake at death?s alarms??Tis but the voice that Jesus sendTo call us to his arms. - Husband
