Obituary (from Betty Hartley):Edmund L. Weisend, a real estate broker who resided at 314 Clarendon Avenue, N. W., Canton, died Saturday night, May 8th, 1954, after an illness of seven weeks. He was 60 years old. A native of Woodsfield, he was a son of the late Anthony and Pauline Spangler Weisend. He went to Canton 40years ago. Mr. Weisend was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Canton.Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen Nauer Weisend, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Neale, of Pasadena, California. Rt. Rev. Msgr. George N. Habig sang a Requiem High Mass Wednesday morning, May 12th, at 9:30 oclock in St. Peters Church at Canton. Interment was in St. Johns Cemetery, Canton.Obit: Edmund L.
