Pfalzgraf, 80, passed away Sept. 10, 2006, at St. Josephs Hospital.She was born July 18, 1926, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late JamesFrank and Erma Hazel (Daugherty) Pfalzgraf.Virginia worked at American Viscose for 10 years and at the FBI Crime Laboratory in Washington, D.C., retiringin 1985 after 30 years of service. She has been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1941, the United Methodist Women and the Star of Hope Circle.She is survived by her sister, Norma M. Pfalzgraf; two cousins, Helen Ruth McDonald of Parkersburg and Eloise OConnor of Norwich, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Margaret Pfalzgraf; and her close friends, Ed and Debbie Martin and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dale E. Pfalzgraf; her grandparents, John and Emma (Sheets) Pfalzgraf, and Joseph andMargaret (Full) Daugherty.At her request her body was donated to the HumanGift Registry, Marshall University School of Medicine, Huntington, W.Va. Acelebration of life memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Burdette, the Rev. Robert Riffle, and the Rev. Thom Malcolm officiating.
