Charles V. Zwick, Sr., age 94, of Louisville, passed away Thursday February 17, 2000 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Charles was born December 11, 1905 in Louisville and was the son of the late Sebastian and Helena
(Burkhart) Zwick. He was a former self-employed masonry contractor and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville.
Charles leaves behind three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Thomas Dieffenbaugher of Louisville, Laurene and John Dieffenbaugher of Louisville and Linnea and Michael Emery of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Betty Zwick of Louisville and Charles and Kathie Zwick, Jr. of Canton; a sister, Mary Agnes Jaeb of Louisville; a brother, Gerald Zwick of Louisville; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Florence Mary (Braun); six sisters; five brothers and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
