LOUISVILLE - Mary M. Schrader, 80, died Friday at her home following an unexpected illness. Born in Harrisburg March 29, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Florence Gulling Zwick.
Retired from the former Zwick?s Department Store, she was a longtime volunteer at St. Joseph Care Center, and a member of American Legion Post 548 Auxiliary, Columbus Women?s Club 25-30 and St. Ann?s Altar and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Schrader was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, whom she married Feb. 23, 1946; a daughter, Julia Lofgren of Greentown; five sisters, Rita France, Jean Kirtley and Barbara Haren, all of Louisville, Eunice Ott of Massillon and Rosemary Phillips of South Carolina; four brothers, Tom and Joseph Zwick, both of Louisville, Patrick Zwick of Cincinnati and Mark Zwick of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Clapper.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Monday morning at St. Louis Church with Monsignor Ken Miller as the celebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
