Broardway, Barnesville, died Saturday, April 19, 1986 at her home. She was born June 3, 1900 in Barnesville, a daughter of Benjamin and Anna Maguire Hunkler. A member of Assumption Church, Barnesville, the Catholic Women?s Club, Alter Society, American Legion Auxiliary and Senior Citizens of XYP?s, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tracy Murphy in 1952; her second husband, Clyde Grimes in 1968; a brother and two sisters. Surviving are her husband, Howard Shepherd; a son Jerry Murphy of Kettering; two step sons, David and Robert Grimes, both of Barnesville; three step-daughters, Joan Wyatt of Florida, Sandra Smith of Chagrin Falls and Mrs. Jack (Sue) Howell of Barnesville; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Wheeling; a brother, Louis Hunkler of Ft. Worth, Indiana; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Friends will be rceived at the Campbell-Plumly funeral Home, Barnesville, Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Assumption Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles Mascolino the celebrant. Burial follows in the Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville. Rosary devotions will be said Monday at 8:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
