Naville Kochert, 81, of New Albany, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at St. Mary?s Navilleton Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery in Floyds Knobs. She died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services with her family by her side. Regina was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary?s Navilleton Catholic Church. The daughter of the late Clem and Clara Oster Naville, she was born Feb. 10, 1925, in Floyd County. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Herman Kochert; her children, Elizabeth Geary, Paul Kochert, Robert Kochert and his wife, Jennifer, James Kochert, David Kochert and his wife, Missy, Jean Watson and her husband, Tim, Rita Nunemaker and her husband, Dave, Tom Kochert and his wife, Rhonda and Dr. Sue Kochert; a sister-in-law, Rita Naville; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Kochert; and a brother, Carl Naville.Visitation at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary?s Navilleton Catholic Church.
