The obituary of John Edward Zwick was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 20 Mar 1976: SUMMERFIELD - John Edward Zwick, 21, of Summerfield Route 1, died at 5 p.m. Thursday in St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo after a six-week illness. Born June 6, 1954 in Barnesville, he was the son of Charles E. and Joann Crum Zwick of Summerfield Route 1. A 1972 graduate of Shenandoah High School, he received his associate degree in mechanical engineering technology in 1974 from Washington Technical College in Marietta. He was a senior at Bowling Green State University, majoring in industrial technology and was employed by GAL Services in Derwent. He was a member of St. Michael?s Catholic church at Carlisle and its Holy Name Society. Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas, Michael and David, and two sisters, Mary Joe and Diane, all of the home; his grand-father, Charles I. Zwick of the home and several aunts and uncles. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Michael?s Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Brubach Funeral Home here where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
