Block, 61, of Ohio 145, Woodsfield, Miltonsburg community, died Wednesday (Jan. 22, 2003) at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Barnesville to Arthur C. and Eleanor Wahl Block. He was an accountant and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Miltonsburg.He is survived by his wife, Margaret McDougal Block; one son, Robert Paul Block II at home; three brothers, Edward Block of Zanesville, James Block of Greenfield and George Block of Miltonsburg; and one sister, Gloria Edwards of Miltonsburg.He was preceded in death by his parents.Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Miltonsburg with Father Chester Paben, Father Samuel Saprano and Father David Gaydosik officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield. Vigil services are at 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
