  BIOGRAPHY: May 1905 Charles and Martha took a wedding trip cruising the Ohio River between Parkersburg and Cincinnatti on the Queen City. In later years, a picture of the Queen City hung in the Chancellor Hotel, in Parkersburg, along the stairway going down to the cafeteria in the basement. When we would eat there Martha pointed out the picture to her grandchildren and told them that she had ridden on the boat. The Queen City Queen City was built in 1897 and operated on the Ohio for many years; ended her career in 1933. Way has much more information (Way's Packet Directory).
