She was the daughter of Albert and Martha (Carder) Mandery. On Dec 12, 1942, she married Eugene Beach, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons: David (Nancy), Lima, and Greg (Missy Watson), Lakeview; a daughter, Susan Duval, Acworth, GA; and eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter linked below; a son-in-law, Steven Duval; two brothers: Thomas and Earl; and a sister, Helen Murphy. A member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Lima Eagles Aerie 370, the Lima Moose Lodge 199, the Lima Elks Lodge 54 and the Roundhead VFW Post 8832, she was also a member of St. Rita's Auxiliary and volunteered at the hospital for 41 years and gave over 25,300 hours of service. She also started the St. Rita's Thrift Shop. She was a 2004 inductee into the Lima Central Catholic Hall of Fame for Service to the Community and received the Jefferson Award Volunteer recognition for Community Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John Catholic Church, with Rev. J. Norbert Howe officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
