He was born in Lanesville to the late Peter and Anna Wiesenberg Kochert. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jean E. Seipp Kochert; daughters, Barbara Sue Smith and husband, Gerald, Corydon, and Linda C. Davis and husband, Mike, Louisville; son, Kenneth J. Kochert and wife, Trina, Sellersburg; grandchildren, Alan Smith, Craig Davis, Kelly Cagle, Deidre Wohlleb, and Neil Kochert; and 13 great- grandchildren.He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
