Letzelter, Mary Letzelter
Spirit of Democracy, Woodsfield, Ohio, dated, February 4, 1937
Miss Mary Letzelter, aged about 75 years, died Wednesday morning [February 3, 1937] at her home on South Main street, Woodsfield. She and Mrs. John Wahl had been making their home together. She had not been in rugged health for some time.
Miss Letzelter and sister, Miss Magdalena, came to Woodsfield with their father Joe Letzelter a good many years ago and made their home here until death separated them. Miss Magdalena died about ten years ago. A number of cousins and other relatives survive.
Funeral services will be held at St. Sylvester?s church on Friday morning at 9:00 o?clock in charge of her pastor. Rev. Gilbert Mehler. Miss Letzelter was a devout Christian woman, a good neighbor and friend. Retiring, yet kindly in disposition, she lived without offense and was loved and respected by those and was loved and respected by those who knew her.
