Schumacher, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was born near Graysville, Ohio, on June 30, 1926, a daughter of the late Harry and Wilma Cline Harmon. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert E. Schumacher; a son, David Lee Schumacher; one sister, Shirley Flauhaus; and two brothers, Gene and Leonard Harmon. Surviving are two sisters, Ann Queen of Parkersburg, WV, Patty Albery of Newark; one brother, Larry (Hope) Harmon of Parkersburg, WV; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2-8 p.m. April 29, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 30 with Father David Gaydosik officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery, Woodsfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County Care Center c/o Activities fund, P.O. Box 352, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793. Vigil services will be held at 7:45 p.m. April 29 at the funeral home.
