  Erma L. Thomason, Pilot Grove March 14, 2008 - 9:53PM Erma Louise Thomason, 82, of Pilot Grove, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove. She was born July 6, 1925, in Salisbury, a daughter of Ben and Frieda Germann Vonderahe. She was married to W.E. Thomason. She was Catholic. She was a registered nurse for 38 years. During World War II, she was an Army nurse. Surviving are a son, Dr. Tom Thomason, of Santa Fe, N.M.; a sister, Laura Willenbring, of Pilot Grove; and two granddaughters, Stephanie Thomason, of Santa Fe, and Theresa Baker, of Albuquerque, N.M. She was predeceased by a daughter, Terry Bates; and a brother, John Vonderahe. The body was donated to science. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
