  [S927] Obituary. Eugene Burkhart Eugene M. (Gene) Burkhart, 64, of Temperanceville, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 7, at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born March 15, 1942, in Monroe County, Ohio, a son of the late Herman and Delores Burkhart. Gene was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Temeranceville, Ohio, and was a retired Department Manager with Riesbecks of St. Clairsville, Ohio, he served in the United States Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Charles Bob, Art, Bill, and Dick Burkhart. Surviving are his wife Deborah Straight Burkhart; two daughters Kelley Burkhart of Temperanceville, Ohio, and Stacey (Sam Wells) Burkhart of Barnesville; a sister Bertha Hossman of Malaga, Ohio; and a brother Herman Jr. (Kay) Burkhart of Temperanceville. Friends will be received Friday 4 to 9 p.m., Kelly - Kemp - Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church Temperanceville, Ohio, with Father David Cornett officiating, burial in Ebenezer Cemetrery, Bethesda, Ohio.
