(Henry) , age 76, of 1840 Fifteenth Street, Cuyahoga Falls. passed away at his home Tuesday, September 8th, (1953) following a two year's illness.A son of John and Barbara Letzelter Wahl, he was born March 12, 1877 near Woodsfield.On November 21, 1900 he was united in marriage with Miss Josephine B. Miller. They celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in 1950.About thirty-seven years ago Mr. Wahl and family moved to Akron.Mr. Wahl, a retired carpenter and contractor, was employed at the Horning Lumber Company in Akron for many years, retiring two years ago. The family moved to Cuyahoga Falls seven years ago from Akron.He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Cuyahoga Falls, and a member of the Holy Name Society of that church, also a member of the Knights of Columbus.Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Josephine B. Wahl; four daughters, Sister M. Leonette, of West Point, Nebraska; Mrs. Josephine M. Bender, of Cuyahoga Falls; Mrs. Eloise Donohue, of Akron, and Mrs. Angela Cheslock, of Stow, and one son Francis J. Wahl, of Cuyahoga Falls; ten grandchildren; one brother, Ignatius Wahl, of Wheeling, and three sisters, Mrs. George Miller, of Martins Ferry; Mrs. Charles Miller, of Arlington, Virginia, and Miss Agnes Wahl, of Zanesville.Friends will be received at the McGowan-Reid Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls after 7:00 o'clock Thursday evening.Funeral services will be held Saturday morning in St. Joseph's Church, Cuyahoga Falls.Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron.
