She was born in Wheeling on May 6, 1941, Ruth was the daughter of the late William and Lucille Eisenhauer Kemna. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, William Kemna; and her sister, Joan Moncman. Surviving are her husband, Frederick J. Horn, Sr.; three daughters, Michelle Ackermann and her husband, David, of Pickerington, Ohio, Vera Jane McGinnis and her husband, Michael, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Ruth E. Griffin and her husband, Rick, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Frederick J. Horn, Jr. of Benwood, W.Va.; two sisters, Jean Tappy of Kailua, Hawaii and Sally Moncman of Urichville, Ohio; her sister-in-law, Nancy Kemna of Kettering, Ohio; five grandchildren, Charles and Katie Ackermann of Pickerington, Ohio, Jacob and Samantha Horn and Curtis Griffin of Phoenix, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Liturgy with Mass, which will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
