MANSFIELD -- Karen Lumbatis, 70, of Mansfield, went to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at MedCentral Hospital.
Karen was born July 29, 1939, in Flushing, to Albert C. and Virginia (Renner) Dunn, and was a member of Living Word Church. She enjoyed embroidering, quilting, and will be greatly missed by her sons and their families.
Surviving are sons, Robert Long and Anthony (Heather) Long, both of Mansfield; brothers, Charlie (Susie) Dunn of Wooster, Kermit Dunn of Des Moines, Iowa, and Theodore (Theresa) Dunn of Michigan; sisters, Elaine Miller of Deep Valley, Pa., Kathleen Riggs of Mansfield, Bonnie (Larry) Becker, Sandra (John) Grosswieler, Patricia (Ronnie) Grosswieler and Joyce (Jose) Zendejas, all of Norwalk; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Lumbatis; her parents, brothers, Albert Dunn and Terry Lockwood and sisters, Ilene Goodrum and Joylynn Lockwood.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m. at Living Word Church, 1034 Grace St., Mansfield.
