Schneider, 83, 215 Grand Ave., Merrill, died this morning at Merrill hospital. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Dale Kuck and Jonathan Knecht, pastors at ST. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Merrill, will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday until the hour of services. Mr. Schneider was born June 2, 1892, in Woodsfield, Ohio, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schneider. On Feb. 14, 1916, in Woodsfield, he was married to Mary K. Smith who survives. He was a retired farmer and resided in the Merrill area since 1923. Survivors besides his wife include three daughters, Mrs. LaVern Culver, Route 4, Mrs. Ernest Culver, 1604 12th St., and Mrs. Quintin Schneider, 215 Grand Ave., all of Merrill; a son, Cedric Schneider, Merrill Route 4; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
