JOHN VEIOCK, 75 Air ForceLAKELAND -- Mr. John A. Veiock of Lakeland died of heart failure Tuesday (March 2, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 75.Born in New Brighton, Pa., on Oct. 17, 1928, he came to Lakeland from Virginia 18 years ago. He was a retired Air Force veteran and served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion.Mr. Veiock is survived by his wife, Laurel E. Veiock; sons, Thomas Veiock, Crystal River, Wayne Veiock, Las Vegas, Paul Veiock, New Jersey; daughter, Audrey Warfel, Mount Laurel, N.J.; sisters, Virginia Price, Beaver Falls, Pa., Dorothy Mason, Rochester, Pa., Mabel Koah, Pensacola; three grandchildren.Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lakeland Funeral Home.
