He was born July 20, 1915 in Monroe County, son of the late Elza and Emma Feiock Lumbatis. He was a retired master mechnaic, a member of the Operating Engineers 18 at Akron, Lewisville Fire Department, Friendship Cemetery Association at Lewisville, Stafford Lodge 300 F&AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge. He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson. Surviving are his wife, Beulah Gray Lumbatis; three sons Richard and Gale, both of Lewisville, and David of Canal Fulton; two daughters, Mrs Dellano (Jeanie) Roe of Lewisville and Mrs Martin (Marlene) Crum of Madison, Tenn.; three brothers, Charles of Dalton, Ala.; Lewis (Hoss) of Carrollton, and Dale (Fuzz) of Lewisville; four sisters, Mildred LaDavia of Wichita, Kan., Ruby Lumbatis of Paradise, Calif., Mary Weber of Akron, and Ruth Holmer of Barberton; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the funeral home in Woodsfield on Friday, October 18. Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
