Stegner, 86, Woodsfield, died April 28, 2006, at Monroe County Care Center. She was born March 16, 1920, in Belmont County, a daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Davis Garrett. She was a member of St. Paul?s United Church of Christ, Woodsfield Garden Club, Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and Women?s Guild of St. Paul?s Church to which she devoted much of her time. She was a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful Christian lady and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Surviving are two daughters, Marsha (Dan) Hissom, Worthington, Marilyn (John) Forni, Woodsfield; son, Mark (Karen) Stegner of Powell; three sisters, Kathryn Moore, Alledonia, Anna Hinderlong, Woodsfield, Helen Bullock, Mechanicsburg, Pa; six grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Anderson, Madison, Wisc., Matthew Hissom, Los Angeles, Ca., Noah (Michelle) Forni, Woodsfield, Adam Forni, Cincinnati, Luke Stegner, Powell, Ashley Stegner, Powell; three great grandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Aidan and Ella Forni. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Stegner in 1997; two brothers, Wayne and Fred Garrett; sister, Letha Landefeld; granddaughter, Melissa Forni. Friends were received May 11 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield. Funeral services will be held May 12, at 1 p.m., at St. Paul?s United Church of Christ, Woodsfield, with Rev.
