Christman, Margaret Isabelle Christman nee Blowers Murray Funeral Home Obituaries, Fredericksburg, Ohio, January 9, 2010 Margaret Isabelle Christman, 83, of Township Road 562, Holmesville, died peacefully, Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at Glendora Care Center in Wooster following a period of declining health. Services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Pastor Kenn Curren officiating. Burial will be in Apple Creek Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691. Margaret was born Sept. 25, 1926 in Malaga, OH in Monroe County the daughter of the late Manford and Effie (Riley) Blowers. She married Melvin Christman on March 4, 1952 in Woodsfield and he survives. She was a graduate of Beallsville High School and had worked as a seamstress at Apple Creek State Hospital. She retiring following 17 years of service. She was a member of Holmesville United Methodist Church. She had been a 4-H advisor for several years and enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by her husband Melvin; 2 sons, Marty and his wife Robbin Christman of Wooster and Mitchel Christman of Wooster; a grandson Ryan Christman and his children Shane and Gillian; three granddaughters, Mariah and her husband Ryan Leifheit and Megan Christman and Madeline Christman and a brother Gene Blowers of Lima. She was preceded in death by a grandson Macy, a brother Wayne Blowers and 2 sisters, Melba Smithberger and Betty Geisey.
