Birth: Sep. 19, 1877 Pemiscot County Missouri, USA Death: Dec. 20, 1944 Micola Pemiscot County Missouri, USA Funeral services were held last Friday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m. at the church in his home town, Micola, for Chas. C. Huntley, 67, native born Pemiscovian who had spent all his life in this community, the past 40 years or more connected with the Pemiscot Land & Cooperage Company as a farm manager. His death, which occurred the preceding Wednesday at his home at Micola, was due to a heart ailment from which he had suffered for some time. He is survived by two sons and a daughter, Dr. Clay Huntley of Miami, Okla., Dr. C.C. Huntley, Jr., of Avoca, Ia., and Mrs. Leon Buckley of Denver, Colo. Mrs. Huntley, also in ill health, had been making her home for some time with her daughter and she and her daughter were unable to be here for the funeral because of the distance and the difficulties of travel, but the two sons came. A brother, A.S. Huntley, of Pasadena, Calif., survives, also a sister, Mrs. McDonald, living in Cape Girardeau, as well as several grandchildren. Interment was in Little Prairie cemetery Friday.
