George Frederick HOFF the son of George and Barbara ARHART HOFF, was born October 5, 1881 in Summit Township, and departed this life on April 5, 1956, at the age of 75 years and six months.He was baptized and confirmed in St.John's Evangelical and Reformed Church and at the time of his death was amember of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Lewisville.On June 21, 1909, he was married to Matilda SMITH and to this union was born one child, a daughter, now Mrs Harry MATZ, who lives next to his home here in Lewisville. He is also survived by one brother, Jake HOFF, who lives on the homeplace east of Lewisville. He has one grandchild, Wilfred MATZ, of Dalton, Ohio, and three great grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.George was a charter member of the Churchmen's Brotherhood of the Lewisville Evangelical and Reformed Parish.
