Radon, nee Faber Source: The Monroe County Beacon dated November 25, 1999 Edith A. Faber Radon, 93, Monroe Manor, Woodsfield, died Nov. 16, 1999 at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Monroe County, Sept. 29, 1906, a daughter of Amiel Faber and Mary Matz Faber. She was a retired Monroe County school nurse, a Monroe County health nurse, a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Woodsfield, Eastern Star Lodge and the Rebekah Lodge of Lewisville. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert R. and Nancy Radon, of Lewisville and Richard G. "Butch" and Jane Radon, of Scottsboro, Ala.; four grandchildren, Robert R. Radon II, William R. Radon, Taren Dawson, Stacey Radon; three great-grandchildren, Kyle R. Radon, Andrew C. Radon, Paige E. Radon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Radon, Dec. 1979; three brothers, Paul, Clyde and an infant brother, Harold Faber; two sisters, Lucille Reischman and Martha Fals. Friends were received Nov. 18 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held Nov. 19, with the Revs. Richard Wilson and Donald Rock officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Caring Ministry or St. Paul's Memorial Fund, 303 S.
