Henry Daigle ? 3/19JENNINGS 51; Henry Daigle, 86, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in his residence.He was a native of Iota and a resident of Jennings. He served in the Army in World War II. He was a member of the VFW and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. He was an usher at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bernadine Ritter Daigle of Jennings; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joel Daigle and Kenny and Dana Daigle, all of Jennings; five daughters, Kathaleen Williams of Covington, Mrs. Jules (Freida) Simoneaux of Rayne, Mrs. Kevin (Charlotte) Farley of Shreveport and Mrs. John (Judy) Dupree and Susan Daigle, both of Jennings; two daughters-in-law, Avia Bertrand Daigle (widow of Gene Henry Daigle) of East Benard and Susan Schuster Daigle (widow of Glenn Daigle) of Jennings; one brother, Hubert Daigle of Lake Charles; one sister, Berta LeJeune of Lake Charles; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Lena Daigle; one daughter, Beverly Ann Daigle; two sons, Gene H. Daigle and Glenn Daigle; two granddaughters, Jill Daigle and Megan Daigle; four brothers, Albert "Busty" Daigle, Alton Daigle, Joseph "t-Joe" Daigle and Edward Daigle; three sisters, Barbara Benny, Lillie Mae Frey and Dora LeDoux.His funeral will be at 10 a.m. today, March 19, from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with full military rites under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home of Jennings. A rosary and Scripture service were held Tuesday.Pallbearers will be Joel Daigle, Kenny Daigle, Mark Daigle, John Dupree, Kevin Farley and Jules Simoneaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Quinn Schexneider, Joe Farley, Mike Farley, Chad Daigle, Shannon Daigle, Jordy Daigle and Jared Daigle.
