Predeceased by her husband, Bernard C. â??Budâ?� Coons; daughter, Roberta Phillips; brothers, Tommy, Eddie & Billy Oâ??Grady. She is survived by her loving children, Bernard (Berhe) Coons, Jr., Mary Ellen (Ken) Gauntlett, William (Leslee) Coons, Susan Goodwin, Beth (Phil) Jerzak, Coleen (Jim) Zingaro & Christopher (Sue Ellyn) Coons; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica), Kristina, Elisa (Arthur), Michael, Victoria (Nick), Sara (Sean), Margaret (Adam), Kyle, Katie (Ron), David, Emily (Corey), Alex, Wendy (Matt), Corey (Ashley), Jason, Amanda, Gwynne (James), Jamie, Chris (Lisa) & Ken Jr.; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Bobby, Beyenne, George, Helena, Isabella, Curtis & Emmett; sister, Kathleen Cole; sister-in-law, Jennie Coons; several nieces and nephews; many friends. She will also be missed by her special friend, Ceil Weaver. The family would like to express a sincere thanks the staff and caregivers at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center (Country Unit) and Lifetime Care for their outstanding care and support over the past several years. Friends may call Wednesday, December 14th, 3-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 15th, 9:30 A.M. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Lifetime Care (LifetimeCare.org) or Lustgarten Foundation (Lustgarten.org) in Helenâ??s memory.
