  [S927] Obituary. George William Zwick?s obituary was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 19 Oct 1959: G. W. ZWICK DIES AT 82 IN HOSPITALGeorge W. Zwick, 82, of near Lewisville, died at 6 a.m. Saturday in the Good Samaritan hospital following an ill-ness of two weeks. A son of George and Barbara Hupp Zwick, he was born in Monroe County, July 30, 1877. Mr. Zwick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Burkhart. He leaves a widow, Annie McVay Zwick, a daughter, Mrs. Marie Brown of Zanesville; a son, Lawrence of Ludlow, Ky.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Rosa Smithberger of Summerfield, four brothers, Mike of Canton, Charles of Woodsfield, Joe and Pete, both of Lewis-ville. The body was removed from the Gardner Funeral Home at Woodsfield to the family home where friends may call and where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday. Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph?s Church. Burial will be in the Friendship Cem-etery, Lewisville.
