The cause of death was unavailable.He was born Sept. 21, 1910, in South Bend to Orville J. and Anna Marie Trapp Hoagland. On Oct. 18, 1930, he married Mary Miller. She survives.Also surviving are one son, Jack of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three daughters, Mary Jean Jordan of Fairfield, Calif., Joan Mathias of Sullivan, Ill., and Judith Ludwig of Rochester; one brother, Harry of Mexico; 16 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. One brother and one half sister are deceased.Mr. Hoagland was retired from Torins Tool & die, Rochester. In 1951, he and his wife moved from Peru to South Mud Lake, where they owned and operated the Lunch Room and Boat Landing.
