He attended Harmony Grade School and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1942.He was an electrician foreman and retired in 1986 after working for Huxtable and Associates for 41 years. His hobby was woodworking.He served in the Navy in the Pacific Ocean during World War II. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 226 and the Lions Club. He also had been a member of the Eudora Planning Commission and was on the Eudora Board of Appeals.He married Norma Lena Eisele on Oct. 9, 1946, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.Other survivors include two daughters, Diana L.
