James A. Moran, 80, Huntington, IN, died Saturday June 9, 2007 at 8:45 PM at the Norwood Nursing Center Huntington, IN. Mr. Moran was born October 19, 1926 in Huntington, IN to John P. and Helene E. Eisenhauer. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Moran was employed as an Account Controller for First Federal Savings Bank, Fort Wayne, IN. for 27 years, he retired in 1984. He worked for Summit Bank, Fort Wayne, IN for 6 years in the mortgage loan department, retiring in 1994. Mr. Moran was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. He served in the Army during WWII. A member of American Legion Post #7, V.F.W. 2689 and Knights of Columbus, all of Huntington, IN. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus bowling team for 50 years and was inducted into the Knights of Columbus Bowlers Hall of fame. He traveled extensively around the United States and many countries around the world. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Patrick Moran, and his twin brother John P. (Jack) Moran and 1 sister Helene (Ann) Comstock. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.Funeral service will be Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 840 Cherry St., Huntington, IN with Fr. John Guimond Presiding. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Mass at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Care of the funeral home.
