Fleck, 51, Flasher farmer, died in Rochester, Minn., at 9:30am Wednesday. He had been ill for the past month. Mr. Fleck was born in Bismarck August 12, 1908, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Fleck, Sr. He married Monica Berger at Fallon on November 18, 1930. In 1930 they moved to Solen that same year and to Fallon in 1936. Mr. Fleck was a member of St. Peter and Paul Church at Fallon, the St. Peter and Paul Verein, St. Anthony Verein and a member of the Fallon school board. In addition to his wife, he leaves 12 children: Lucas, Flasher; Anton, Fallon; Mrs. Matt (Adeline) Vogel, Solen; Jerome, Fallon; Mrs. Martin(Hildegarde) Morrell, St. Anthony; Lenora Fleck, Valentine, Clara, Bernadette, Richard T., Melvin T. and Leonard T., all of Fallon; four sons preceded him in death. Also surviving are seven grand children and the following brothers and sisters: Jack J. Fleck, Breien; Joseph J. Fleck, Solen; Mrs. Jack M. Schmidt, Mandan; George J. Fleck, Mandan; Mrs. Orlee Fisher, Solen; Johnnie J. Fleck, Jr., Mandan; Mrs. Ted Beckler, Mandan; Mrs. Jack J. Schmidt, Mandan; and Clemens J. Fleck, Solen; his parents Mr. and Mrs. John G. Fleck, Sr. 407 1st Ave NW, Mandan; four brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. Services will be held at 10:00am Monday from St. Peter and Paul Church at Fallon with the Rev. Raymond Backus officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Mandan. Friends may call at the Hoenig Funeral Home Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. Rev. Backus will say the parish rosary at 8:00pm Friday at Hoenig's and St Maria Verein will say the rosary at 7:00pm Saturday. Pall bearers will be his five brothers and a brother in law: : Jack J. Fleck; Joseph J. Fleck; George J. Fleck; Johnnie J. Fleck, Jr.; Clemens J. Fleck; and Valentine Gerhardt. St. Peter and Paul Verein will say the rosary at 3:00pm Sunday and the Rosary Society at 7:30pm.
