Proposed Change: Family: Lux/Steck (F20994)Tree: Südpfalz / Southern PalatinateLink: http://www.birkenhoerdt.net/familygroup.php?familyID=F20994&tree=SuedpfalzDescription: I found the baptismal entry for Jacob LUX in a rural Haguenau register, even though the Catholic records for Betschdorf, Oberbetschdorf and Niederbetschdorf, Bas Rhin were destroyed by vandals in the 1960s.Jacob's baptismal date is 8 Apr 1746 at Niederbetschdorf. It is an interesting story how this Jacob ended up as a soldier at Parmisens.My suggestion is to change the date and place of the baptism in accord with the above.
