Born and raised at 147 Old River Rd, Luzerne County, Wilkes-Barre Pa. Baptized by Rev Richard B Webster on July 5 1894 at Westminister Presbyterian Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He attended the Carey Avenue School in Wilkes-Barre Pa and starting at age six, the Franklin Street School. He graduated from Wilkes-Barre High School (North Washington St) in 1905. Attended the Wyoming Seminary, a dedicated business school and prominent college prep school, in Kingston Pa from September 1905 to February 1906. Worked for Bartell Brewing Co in Wilkes-Barre Pa from 1907 to 12/29/1916; for McCorry 5 & 10 in Memphis Tn from January 1917 to April 1917; Pennsylvania Bell Telephone from April 1917 to 1923; and New Jersey Bell Telephone from 1923 until retirement on October 1 1953. After marriage he lived at 2241 S Bucknell St units #3 & #3 1/2 in Philadelphia Pa; Trenton NJ; Ocean City NJ; at 624 S Newton Lake Dr in Collingswood NJ (mid 30's to early 50's) and at 121 Baldwin Rd in Glassboro NJ (early 50's and after).
