Eisenhauer, 88, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:10 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at the Fair View Nursing Center in Du Quoin.Sarah was a homemaker and had worked as a beautician and had worked at the Pinckneyville Garment Factory.She was of the Baptist faith.She was born May 3, 1918 in Johnston City, the daughter of Selkirk and Christenia ( Beal) Jent.She was first married to Elza "Tucker" Rea and he preceded her in death. She then married Joseph E. Eisenhauer on Sept. 15, 1973 in Du Quoin and he died June 19, 1994. She is survived by nieces, Janet Murray of Du Quoin, Bonnie Wilkison of St. Charles, Mo., and Yalonda Sawyer of New York; nephews, Nick Jent of Dallas, Tex., Frank Felts of Garden City, Mich., Jim Felts of Canton, Mich., and Robert Jent; brother-in-law, Pete Eisenhauer of Pinckneyville; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Eisenhauer and Elizabeth Hagene of Pinckneyville; several great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three sisters and five brothers.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Monsignor Harry Jerome officiating.Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
