Morris Franks Morris L. Frahks, 90, of Prophetstown, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded and the there will be public services. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home, Prophetstown. www.mcdonaldfuneralhomes.com He was born on May 9, 1916, in Portland Township, near Erie, the son of Glenn Leslie and Nellie Delphey Franks. He married Leno-la M. Egert on Jan. 3, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. She died Sept. 11, 2000. Morris was a veteran of World War II having served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Aircorp. He had owned and operated the M & L Fruit Farm near Prophetstown for a number years. Survivors (and spouses) include two daughters, Deb (Dick) Enright, Prophetstown and Lois Comer, Toulon, 111.; one brother, D. Edison (Louise) Franks, and one sister, Arvilla (Don) Ritter, Geneseo; five grandchildren; and nine-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; and one brother, Morton Franks,
