Mr. Kindig was born in Woodford county, Nov. 1. 1939, a son of Carl and Alice (Thompson) Kindig. He married Karen Wissmiller. June 29, 1962 at Minonk. Survivors are his sife, his mother and step-father, Mr and Mrs George (Alice) Alton of Secor; two daughters, Tara and Estelle, both at home and a sister, Miss Kay Kindig of St Louis, Mo. Mr Kindig was a member of the Second Presbyterian church and Moose lodge He was a former owner and operator of an automobile repair service in Bloomington.
