Kruse Wissmiller.He is survived by his life partner of twenty-six years, Lori Weed of Cooksville; his children, Aaron (Elaine Carter) Wissmiller of Bloomington, Derek (Kristine) Wissmiller of Oak Park and Shannon (Jared Carson) Weed of Ellsworth; seven grandchildren, Rowena, Jacob and Owen Wissmiller, Emmett Wissmiller and Jacob, Emily and Lilly Carson; four siblings, Michael (Cathy Weber) Wissmiller of Cooksville, Daniel Wissmiller of Cooksville, Peggy Sue Bliss of Bloomington and Pamela (Mark) Dehner of Clover, S.C.He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Karen Kindig and Frank Timothy Wissmiller.Joe graduated from Tri-Valley High School. He was a lifelong resident and committed himself to the Village of Cooksville/Blue Mound Township Community. He served as Blue Mound Township Road Commissioner for 40 years, retiring in 2017.Joe was a beloved husband, father, Pa Pa, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.
