Diane was born September 22, 1961 in Bloomington to Gary and Therese Fenton Kennedy. She married Robert L. Horner November 12, 1983. He preceded her in death June 23, 2018. Also preceding her in death were her parents. Surviving are five sons, Chance (Stephanie) Horner of Bloomington, Cole (Jenny) Horner of Bloomington, Clint Horner of Bloomington, Charlie Horner of Armington, Cooper Horner of Armington, two sisters, Colleen Tucker of LeRoy, Julie (Tim) Serpette of Bloomington, two brothers, Doug Kennedy of Pinckneyville, John (Laura) Kennedy of Arizona. Diane was a social worker for DCFS and Chestnut Health Systems. Social work and caring for others was her passion. Throughout her life she and her husband Robert, opened their home to over 42 foster children. She loved her family fiercely and supported them always. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church in Minier. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, July 27, at Liberty Baptist Church.
