He was preceded in death by his parents. He married Theresa "Teesie" Fenton on Oct. 25, 1958 in Bloomington. She survives.Also surviving are two sons, Doug Kennedy and John Kennedy; three daughters, Diane (Robert) Horner, Colleen (Doug) Tucker and Julie Boward; one brother David (Lori) Kennedy; three sisters, Linda Kennedy, Mary Lou Kennedy and Nancy Henline and 11 grandchildren.He served in the United States Army Reserves for six years with active duty of six months.
