Gloria S. Laidlaw, age 82, a resident of Merced passed away Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Mercy Community Hospital in Merced.
Gloria was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Sister who will truly be missed. Her hobbies included needlework, crocheting, and gardening, but
her true love was spending time with her family.
A Graveside service will be private upon family request.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society 301 W. 18th Street Suite 101 in Merced, California 95340.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced.

Gloria S. Laidlaw, age 82, a resident of Merced passed away Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Mercy Community Hospital in Merced.
She was born December 13, 1922 in Barbados, West Indies to the late Arthur and Annie Mestier.
Gloria was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Sister who will truly be missed. Her hobbies included needlework, crocheting, and gardening, but her true love was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Doug Laidlaw of Winton, California; a brother, Joseph Mestier of Wisconsin; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Tex" Laidlaw who passed away in 1992.
A Graveside service will be private upon family request.
