Bio: Della P. Houck, 79, of Youngwood, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born April 9, 1933, in Greensburg, daughter of the late Blair C. and Eldora (Bahana) Kemerer. Surviving are four children, Robert L. Houck Jr. and wife, Linda, of Ligonier, Donald R. Houck, of Hempfield Township, Darlene D. Davis, of Hunker, Kathy Musgrove and husband, Russell, of Hunker; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Libby Kemerer, of Youngwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Houck; a daughter, Debra Houck; four sisters, Meredith Smith, Mildred Brown, Edna DeFelice and Sarah Aktinson; three brothers, Edward, Blair and Robert Kemerer. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at the at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Almon Birt officiating. Interment will follow in the Youngwood Cemetery, Youngwood. Contributions may be made to the to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.Greensburg Tribune-Review
