(Lambrix), 68, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Archer was born Feb. 16, 1933, in Shelby, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Pechumer) Lambrix. Spending childhood in Detroit, returning to Shelby, graduating there in the class of 1951, Elaine joined Gene Archer in marriage in Shelby. They made their home in Farmington Hills where they owned a store. They moved to Clear Lake in 1976 where they operated "The Guide Post Store" for 25 years. Survivors include sons, Mark (Cindi), Michael (Gayle), Gary (Chris) and Scott (Jan); nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Phyllis (Bob) Bullock, and Marilyn (John) Carroll; brother, Donald (Nancy) Lambrix. She was preceded in death by husband, Gene; brother, Robert; her parents; Aunt Helen Pankow; and many friends. Funeral service Sunday, Oct. 14, at Rose City. Burial in Ferry Township Cemetery, Ferry.
