Bio: Brenda Lee Schad, 52, of W5311 Koeser Lane, Town of Rhine, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 8, 2015 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was the former Brenda Lee Koeser, born February 21, 1963 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Elroy R. & Joanne O. (Will) Koeser. Brenda was a 1981 graduate of Kiel High School. On August 14, 1982 she married Brian A. Schad, son of Helen (Schaefer) Schad and the late Frank Schad, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Brenda had previously worked at Lawn Boy/Toro and for the past 25 years had been employed at Miller St. Nazianz/CNH Industrial. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, camping, gardening, deer hunting and cheering on the Packers She also enjoyed cooking, baking and painting. She was a long term member of the Ant Hill Mob for over 30 years. Survivors include her husband Brian, two daughters; Bridget (Phillip) Bonde and their daughter, Olivia Bonde, Brittney Schad (Jake Thielmann), mother-in-law, Helen Schad, brothers & sisters, Bruce (Judy) Koeser, Keith (Michelle) Koeser, Lori (Jeff) Morley, Lisa (Bob) Eckardt, Kelly (Tim) Denor and Amy Koeser (Al Schuh). She is further survived her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Diane (Larry) Apel, Mike (Mickey) Schad, Glen (Chris) Schad, Lee (Bev) Schad, Gloria (Peter) Scharenbroch, Doreen (Joe) Schmidt, Bobbi Schad, Karen (Fritzie) Plagemann, several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elroy & Joanne Koeser, father-in-law, Frank Schad and brother-in-law, Steve Schad. The funeral Mass for Brenda will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church (413 Fremont St., Kiel). Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th St., Kiel) on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:30 am when brief family rites will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name. The family would like to send out a special thank you to all the family, friends and surrounding communities that shared love and support through Brenda's courageous battle with cancer. Brenda's family would also like to thank the staff at the Sheboygan Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and all medical staff for the care and compassion shown to her.
